Annie grew up dancing at several studios in the Twin Cities but received her primary training from Energy Dance Center, under the direction of Shannon Butterfield Raines, Gina Illies, and Steve Kincade. She graduated from the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists and during her time there she had the privilege to work some of Minnesota’s finest dance professionals such as Wynn Fricke, Penny Freeh and Mathew Janczewski. Annie spent two of her summers in high school at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA attending their International Summer Dance Program.

Upon graduating high school Annie moved to Pittsburgh, PA to attend Point Park University where she is currently perusing a degree in dance, with a dual concentration in modern and jazz. Annie will graduate in Spring 2016. In her time at Point Park she has been fortunate to train with a number of notable professors such as Kiesha Lalama, Doug Bentz, Garfield Lemonius, Judith Liefer & many other seasoned professionals.

Annie’s love for teaching began at a young age at Dancer’s Edge and she still enjoys teaching and choreographing at different dance studios around the Twin Cities. She is very excited to be a part of the TDC family! She brings great knowledge and experience to our team.
